SEPTEMBER'S FEATURE : Hawkshead Relish Company

Mark & Maria Whitehead set up the Hawkshead Relish Company in 1999 and have recently been acknowledged by the Great Taste Awards - the "Oscars" of the food industry as the "SPECIALITY PRODUCER OF THE YEAR" a huge accoclade for a small company based in Hawkshead. Not to mention their 31 Awards Great Taste Awards gained along the way.

With over 100 products all made by hand in the tiny kitchens alongside the shop in Hawkshead, visitors are invited to see what is being made and have a taste before they buy. The shop is open daily and the relishes are available at stockists throughout the UK. Using the finest ingredients is the key to great flavours, no additives, no colouring, no preservatives or padding just real fresh ingredients.
