Quad bike with spray attachment being used to control the
spread of bracken. These intakes (in-bye ground) were cleared
of bracken some years ago using aerial spray this achieves
a 95% kill It is necessary to control the remaining bracken
to prevent re-establishment Quad bikes are a modern feature
of fell farming proving very useful to gain access to ground
that is too steep or rough for tractors.
