Wasdale pie is made from fresh locally sourced Herdwick
lamb cooked in port with redcurrants. She operates from
a purpose built kitchen production unit located at the Blencathra
Business Park at Threlkeld.
Her pies are in much demand throughout the Lake District
National Park, supplying hotels, pubs and other catering
outlets. In addition she has a thriving mail order business
throughout mainland Britain (where she can guarantee next
day delivery). She uses a special packaging which accommodates
dry ice to ensure perfect freshness on arrival to her growing
number of happy customers.
