Relics from the slate mines perched upon the fell face
overlooking Honister Pass. Although there appears to be
slate debris lying around, nothing is actually wasted and
the poorer quality slate pieces are ground down and mixed
with resin to produce ornaments to be displayed for sale
in the shop beside very high quality slate products.
